Who are we?

Pepper Morse

Pepper was hired in Spring 2021 at a tribally owned facility, Swinomish Golf Links, located in Washington, where for the past 2 seasons from Spring 2024 - Fall 2025 he worked as one of their Assistant Golf Professionals. Pepper now is Founding Managing Partner/Owner & Director of Operations at Hozho Experiences, LLC.

  • In 2022 he started a memorial tournament for his late best friend - with the intention to help the community heal their grief of loved ones who have continued their journey, while at the same time trying to grow the game, we all love. Since then, the players for that particular annual experience have grown by 50%.

  • He has been in and out of the golf industry since his first job, 20+ years ago, at Hog Neck Golf Course (Easton, MD) and since then has worked at 4 different facilities all over the USA.

  • Pepper thrives in a hospitality conscious environment where he enjoys being able to execute top tier customer service. He currently is in the PGA PGM Program and working towards Class A Membership soon.

Melissa Felix

Melissa is the Founding Partner/Owner & Director of Client Relations at Hozho Experiences, LLC - a venture that blends Indigenous values and Pacific Northwest adventure. With deep roots in the Lummi & Colville reservations, Melissa brings decades of experience in designing contracts, coordinating programs, and shaping brand strategy for startups, tribal entities, and community initiatives.

  • She spent over ten years creating and running a wholesale seafood buying business; that served local tribal fisherman and provided them a better price for their product - which to this day is the standard rate.

  • Melissa grounds her work in economic development & empowerment, relational accountability, and coastal stewardship. Whether curating immersive events or developing culturally resonant business tools - Melissa leads precisely with heart and has a commitment to honoring People & Place for the current and the coming generations.

When she isn’t working, she loves spending time with family. She has a refined taste for culture and traditional teachings, and she gets excited whenever traveling is on the itinerary - whether that is a local adventure or out-of-state excursion.
